Reconstitution of FruitFast Juice Concentrates
FruitFast juice concentrates are meant to be mixed to your preferred strength. There is no rule that every fruit has to be reconstituted to exactly the same ratio.
For many of our concentrates, a useful starting point is roughly 1 oz concentrate to 7 oz water. From there, make it lighter or stronger to fit your taste.
The Short Answer
Start with the current product label. Fruit, Brix and intended use can affect the best dilution.
How to Mix a Glass
- Shake the concentrate bottle before use.
- Add the desired amount of concentrate to a glass.
- Add cold water or sparkling water.
- Stir well and taste.
- Add more water for a lighter drink or a little more concentrate for stronger fruit flavor.
Beyond Water
- Sparkling water or seltzer.
- Smoothies.
- Tea or lemonade-style drinks.
- Mocktails and cocktails.
- Sauces, vinaigrettes, glazes and marinades.
- Yogurt, oatmeal and dessert recipes.
How Much Does a 32 oz Bottle Make?
At a typical 1:7 concentrate-to-water ratio, 32 oz of concentrate can make about 2 gallons of mixed beverage. Your final yield depends on how strong you prefer it.
Storage After Mixing
Refrigerate mixed juice and use normal food-handling practices. Keep the remaining concentrate refrigerated or frozen after arrival.
